Ready for Halloween? Are you looking for cute Halloween food ideas? I found this great pumpkin dinner roll recipe at Tastemade.com, and I decorated them as Jack-o’-lantern. The recipe is super easy to follow, and the decorating is also a piece of cake. Try this with me and you’ll have a party favorite!
The complete recipe can be found at Tastemade.com. Since their website has an amazing video tutorial, I’d rather direct you to their site than write everything out here. Click this link to open the recipe in a new tab.
I did change one thing from the original recipe. Instead of stuffing the bread with plain cream cheese, I added 3 – 4 Tbsp sugar into the cream cheese and 1 tsp of vanilla extract so that the filling tastes more like cheesecake.
Just like we dress-up in costume on Halloween, the dinner rolls need transformations, right? With some chocolate, the transformation is easy peasy.
I shared this bread with my family, and they were such a hit! Plus, in case you are getting sick of sugary Halloween candies, this semi-sweet bread is a perfect change.
I hope you enjoy the pumpkin bread as much as I did! Happy Halloween<3
