Hello! I’m Tami. Welcome to Simply A Homebody!

Blog Contents

I’ve always been a homebody. Home is where I can truly feel comfortable and get cozy. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way 😉  Over the years, I used my time at home baking and practicing a healthy lifestyle.

Baking has been a big part of my life growing up, and I’m still learning more every day. I focus on creating cute (kawaii) food. Not only I will be sharing how to bake, but also share detailed instructions on how to decorate your food to look super cute.

Living a healthy lifestyle is my secondary focus. I like practicing healthy habits, and I will share them here if I find anything interesting.

Long story short, if you are interested in what’s on the list below, stick around 🙂

  • Creating cute foods to show off
  • Learning food decorating process
  • Learning healthy habits

Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you for reading and see you around!

In case you are wondering who I am, here is my personal bio

I was born and raised in Japan. I’ve grown up baking and cooking with my mother at an early age, and baking has been my hobby for a long time since then. Now I’m married and live in the US with my husband and our very talkative Siamese cat, Penny.

Language

If you are a native English speaker, I’m guessing you’ve already noticed. English is my second language. Learning English as a second language is HARD, especially the writing part. So you may notice some grammatical errors here and there. I’m doing my best not to have any of them by using grammar correcting software… I want to keep writing my blog in English instead of Japanese so that I can engage in more diverse groups of people. So I’ll keep trying! The practice makes perfect, right?
